An alternative approach is to implement more (but not 32) single-ended channels at a somewhat lower data rate while providing an adequate number of return pins to keep kxr less than 10%. Suppose both approaches use current mode signaling and have a fixed noise of VN1 = 20 m V (receiver offset plus sensitivity) and proportional noise (other than kxr) of 15%.
